Psalm 31
Phil 2:5-11
John 12:12-19
Before Jesus was ever born, Zechariah prophesied that Jesus would come triumphant and victorious, riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. In the Psalm, David tells of those who are after him and of his trust in the Lord stating, “Blessed be the lord, for he has wondrously shown his steadfast love to me.” What he does for us, he does for us to remember his works and to glorify him.
Philippians tells us that, “Every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” When Jesus did ride the donkey into the crowd at the festival, they praised his name.
Do you praise the Lord’s name? Do you remember what he has done and glorify the Father?
